Disappearing pins!

At first I enjoyed this game, good graphics, sounds, etc. Then I began to notice something strange. In almost every game, at least once or twice pins will just disappear, sometimes right before my eyes. Ive gotten several strikes when knocking down only 9 pins. Or a 7 when I knocked down 6, etc. Not wobbly pins, either.
Ive also noticed that touching the screen after the ball is rolling will modify the balls direction, making it pretty easy/tempting to "cheat".
So, its relaxing, but not the best.
